Robo becomes an Historic brand

A HISTORY OF QUALITY AND TRADITION FOR OVER 85 YEARS 

Pontecagnano Faiano, March 2024 - Robo, brand specialized in the production of foodstuff for Ho.Re.Ca and that is part of D’Amico Group, has been awarded as Historic Brand of National Interest. The Ministry of Economic Development, through the General Management for Industrial Property Protection,  conferred this prestigious title by reason of the commitment shown by the company during its more than 85 years of activity.

Founded in 1938, Robo started its business in Oltrepò Pavese producing nuts for stocks and soups. Over the years, the product range expanded, including items such as mushrooms, artichokes, tomatoes, sauces, pesto, creams and legumes, designed to Ho.Re.Ca market. With more than 600 products, nowadays Robo is one of the most requested brands in the industry, distributing not only throughout the national territory but also internationally in over 80 countries.

In 2018, the brand joins D'Amico Group, specialized in the production of canned foodstuff and already known for the brands D'Amico, Logrò and Montello. This acquisition reinforced even more D'Amico market position, widening its presence in the Ho.Re.Ca market.

Robo mission is to discover and select the best worldwide ingredients, allowing restaurant owners and chefs to transform them in authentic masterpieces. Thanks to the selection of excellent raw materials, the constant research of innovative proposals and the availability of the products in every season, the brand is a precious and reliable ally in the cuisine for foodservice professionals.

 The enrollment in the special Register of historic brands of national interest represents a significant accomplishment for Robo that for more than 80 years is alongside of foodservice professionals.
